LIVE SESSIONS

What a Live Forex Trading Session in Dubai Includes

By · 5 Nov 2026 · 8 min read

A live forex trading session at Equity Fin Academy is a scheduled hour with Gopi Chandran on a chart you can both see. It is part of a group class and part of a private lesson, in the room in Dubai, UAE, and online across the UAE. It is not a recording you start when a meeting ends, and it is not a list of trades to copy into your account.

The two syllabuses that the hour sits inside are on the courses page. This note is the hour itself: what is on the screen, what you are asked to do, and what you should leave with. Fees are quoted in AED when you enquire. They are not printed here. What a quote includes is on pricing.

What is on the screen

MetaTrader 5 is open on one symbol. Beginners usually stay on a major such as EUR/USD until the candle is familiar. Gold, if that is the chart you asked to work on, is XAUUSD. How a quote is built is in currency pairs for UAE learners. How gold is taught, as a symbol on the same platform rather than a separate course, is in the XAUUSD class note.

You should be able to point at the bid, the ask, and the latest closed candle. If those three are still new, do that reading before the hour. The English video on this page, from Equity Global English, is a walkthrough of the platform. The install steps in writing are how to start with MT5 in the UAE. A demo account is the right place to click until the buttons are boring. What the demo will not show you is in demo versus live.

Practical orders in class go through StarTrader, regulated by the UAE Securities and Commodities Authority. You open that account yourself. The course fee and the money in the trading account are separate. Nobody in the session needs your broker password.

What you do during the hour

The hour follows the topic on the track, not a fresh idea from the morning's headline. On the basic track that topic might be a candle, a swing, or the way an order is placed. On the advanced track it might be market profile, a Fibonacci level, or the risk line you wrote down. The lists, in teaching order, stay on the courses page so this article does not become a second syllabus.

  1. You show the chart and the mark you made before the class. A blank screen means the first minutes are spent finding a symbol.
  2. The mentor corrects the mark: the swing that is actually there, the one you invented, and the candle that does not count because the session was closed. Market structure, if you want the vocabulary first, is this guide.
  3. If the topic is an order, you place it on the practice account while someone watches the click. The point is the ticket, the size, and the stop, not a result for that day.
  4. You leave with one sentence: what you will do differently on the next chart. That sentence is what the following class starts from.

Risk arithmetic belongs in the note you bring, not as a guess during the click. How much of an account a practice trade should be allowed to lose is in how much to risk per trade. A one-page plan, if you want the sentence to live somewhere, is the trading plan and journal.

A group hour and a private hour use the same screen differently

In a group session the symbol and the topic are shared, so your question has to be about that chart. Prepare for that constraint with how to prepare for a group class. In a private session the hour can stay on the pair, the gold chart, or the mistake you wrote down last time. The prep for that booking is one-to-one class prep.

Which room to book is a separate decision. The comparison is private versus group classes, and the offer is private and group training. Both include live trading sessions. A day job changes when the hour can sit. That calendar is classes for working professionals and weekend classes.

What to write in the last ten minutes

A session you cannot describe the next morning did not stick. Before you close the platform, write four lines:

  • The symbol and the timeframe.
  • The mark you arrived with, and what was changed.
  • Whether an order was placed, and what the stop was attached to. Leave the profit and loss figure off the page. One practice ticket is not a record.
  • The single question for the next session.

If a data release fell inside the hour, note the time in Gulf Standard Time and the pair it belonged to. Converting that row is the economic calendar in Dubai. The London and New York overlap, which is often when the chart is busiest, is forex market hours in Dubai.

How to book the hour

Tell the academy the track, group or private, Dubai or online, and the hours you can keep on Gulf Standard Time. The contact page and WhatsApp +971 55 904 7030 reach the same place. Students outside Dubai, including Ajman and the northern emirates, use the same session. That geography is forex classes in Ajman and the northern emirates. The online format itself is the online forex course in the UAE.

The academy is open 24/7 and rated 5.0 on Google from 30+ reviews. More than 2,000 students have trained through Equity Global and live classes. Read the listing from the reviews page if you want third-party comments before you book. The study index is the blog.

Book the session through the forex training academy Dubai and the forex training academy UAE.

Bring one chart and one question. Ask for the next group seat or a private hour.
