CHOOSING A SCHOOLHow to Choose a Forex Training Academy in the UAE
The UAE has no shortage of people selling forex education. Some of it is a real classroom. Some of it is a funnel into a broker deposit. The useful question is not “who ranks first in an ad” — it is which checks a school can pass before you pay. This is the list I would want used on Equity Fin Academy as well as on anyone else.
1. The instructor has a name and a past you can read
If the page says “our team of experts” and never names the person in the room, you cannot judge the teaching. Gopi Chandran is the founder and lead instructor. That is the biography. It is not a promise about any student's results.
2. The curriculum is a sequence, not a folder of videos
Beginners need vocabulary, candlesticks, market structure and risk before anyone reaches the advanced track. A school that opens with “secret setups” is skipping the part that keeps people solvent. Our two tracks are written out on the courses page. Basic to Intermediate is the beginner sequence. Advanced Institutional Strategies assumes you already have it. What a beginner course in Dubai feels like walks through the first track without the marketing adjectives.
3. Practice happens on a regulated broker, and that phrase is precise
Practical sessions run through Star Trader, regulated by the UAE Securities and Commodities Authority. Read that carefully. The broker is regulated. The academy is a school. We do not manage client money, and broker regulation is not a licence for us to promise returns. If another academy tells you their “training” requires you to fund an unnamed offshore account before you have seen a syllabus, treat that as distribution, not education.
4. You can find the room
Equity Fin Academy teaches in person in Dubai, UAE, and online across the UAE. The academy is open 24/7. Calling ahead means someone can show you the tracks. Group classes and private one-to-one lessons are both available, including live trading sessions; the difference is explained on private and group forex training. Who each format suits is in private versus group forex classes in Dubai.
Students coming from further away should read the Abu Dhabi and Sharjah notes rather than assume a local campus. If you need something fully remote, the online study page explains learning online across the UAE.
5. Reviews live somewhere you do not control
Testimonials on a school’s own site are easy to write. Equity Fin Academy is rated 5.0 on Google from 30+ reviews. Open them yourself — the reviews page links to Google Maps for that reason, and this article will not paste quotes. The Equity Global channel has 200+ YouTube reviews and comments. More than 2,000 students have been trained through the Equity Global channel and live mentorship. That number is reach. It is not a statement that 2,000 people make a living from forex. Most new traders lose money. Anyone who skips that sentence is selling you something else.
6. The fee is explainable, even if it is not printed
We do not publish a price, because it moves with the cohort. That is only acceptable if you can see what the fee buys. Pricing lists the inclusions: live instruction in Dubai, the syllabus, practical sessions on Star Trader, and — on the advanced track only — lifetime WhatsApp access for questions. Broker-account funding is separate. Ask the current number when you enquire. A school that will not say what is included, or that takes payment only as a “deposit” inside a trading account, has failed the check.
What we will not claim while you compare us
We do not claim to be the only forex academy in Dubai. We do not claim a rank that an advertisement bought. The longer comparison, including the 5.0 rating and the 2,000+ students figure in one place, is the guide to judging a forex course in Dubai. Use it on us. Then decide.
Read the Google reviews or see the FAQ if a specific objection is already answered.
