Gold (XAUUSD) Trading Course in Dubai: What the Class Teaches

What the symbol actually is

XAUUSD, often written XAU/USD, is the price of gold in US dollars. It is not a currency pair in the way EUR/USD is a pair of two economies, but on MetaTrader 5 it is still a symbol with a bid, an ask, and a candle. The dollar is the second half of the symbol, which is why a busy US session often matters for gold as well as for the majors.

Gold can travel farther in a single hour than a quiet major, and the spread you see is part of the symbol, not a mistake in the platform. A class in Dubai will not pretend a gold candle and a euro candle are the same size. The reading method is shared. The symbol is not.

What you need before gold is worth marking

The useful order is the same one the Basic to Intermediate track uses. A candle has to mean something before a gold wick does. Candlestick patterns and support and resistance are the marks. When a Dubai evening is a useful time to watch gold

Dubai and the rest of the United Arab Emirates use Gulf Standard Time, UTC+4, all year. London and New York hours, converted to that clock, are on the forex market hours page. Gold often responds when those sessions are active, and it can also move hard on a scheduled US release. Check the economic calendar in Dubai time before you treat a spike as a level you misread.

A Saturday class can still review last week’s gold chart. It will not show a new London candle, because the forex market is shut from Saturday morning until Monday morning, UAE time. How a class uses your gold chart

Bring one symbol and one question. “XAUUSD, one-hour chart, I do not know if this swing is still the move” is a complete brief. Five metals and three timeframes is a tour.
